The cheeky songster finally tied the knot with the beautiful Ayda claiming that ‘She makes me want to be a better person. And in the process, I have become a better person.’

He certainly looks happy. Williams, 36, who has spent the last ten years battling with drink and drugs, really seems to want to turn his life around and feels that Ayda Field, 31, is the one who will help him do it.

The couple were married at their 12 million dollar home in Beverley Hills, with just 60 select guests invited to share the big day. Robbie and Ayda have been together for 3 years now. Williams proposed to her live on Australian radio last November.

The wedding was far from conventional, with guests bing told they were going to a James Bond themed evening until minutes before the ceremony bagan. Guests also enjoyed a 1am full English breakfast amongst other delights such as a three flavour wedding cake.

The couple are now on a two-week honeymoon before Williams returns to Britain next month to promote his new single, ‘Shame’, and headline a Help for Heroes concert at Twickenham stadium.

Rugged Hollywood star and ex hell-raiser Mickey Rourke is preparing to marry his 24 year old Russian girlfriend Elean Kuletskaya in the new year and is looking in to the possiblity of a Moscow wedding.

The stunning blond model has been seen with Mickey at a number of public occassions including GQ Man of the Year celebration in London at the Royal Opera House in September earlier this year. The couple seem to be very much in love and she has been tutoring the 57 year old star for his upcoming role as Russian villain ‘Whiplash’ in Ironman 2.

Rourke, who has cleaned up his bad-boy image since starring in recent film roles Sin City and more recently the highly acclaimed 2008 hit ‘The Wrestler’has been preparing for a Russian wedding according to the New York Post.

They quote a friend of Rourke’s as saying “They haven’t booked a venue or made any solid plans. He just knows he wants to do it in April, and he’s been asking what is involved in a traditional Russian wedding ceremony.”

During an interview on 2DayFM’s Kyle and Jackie O breakfast show Williams said: “Ayda Field, I love you so much. Do you mind being my betrothed for the end of time?”

During the chat,  Robbie talks about the most romantic things he’s ever done, and he then borrowed the host’s frog ring and slid it onto his long time girlfriend’s engagement finger.

The Australian actress, laughed after Robbie’s proposal, and  replied: “I would love to be your betrothed ’til the end of time.”

Turning to his girlfriend, Williams said: “Is there anyone you want to get married to? Will you marry me?”

Robbie mentioned that he thought he was going to be “a bachelor” on the Jonathan Ross chat show earlier this month.

“I was introduced to Ayda and things just changed. She’s a wonderful person and I’m in love. She’s really broody and I’m getting there,” he said.

PENELOPE Cruz and her beau Javier Bardem will be husband and wife “very soon” -  insiders say.

Rumours that  Penelope Cruz is set to wed the Spanish actor came about when the actress wore a sapphire and diamond ring  on ‘that’  finger at the October premiere of her latest movie Broken Embraces.

It has now been claimed that Penelope is to meet with wedding dress designers, including the House of Balenciaga.

Needless to say, Hollywood is full of gossip debating where she might buy her dress from, but as far as we can tell, it’s a case of once bitten twice shy for the beautiful Ms Cruz and she is saying nothing.

The actress was spotted recently on the Late Show with David Letterman wearing the engagement ring.

Bollywood actress Shipla Shetty and  successful London based businessman, Raj Kundra married in Khandala, Mumbia on the 22nd Nov.  The couples glittering wedding ceremony was attended by  a number of personalities form the world of  fashion, cricket and politics.

Shilpa and  Kundra married, in what was described as a “fairy-tale wedding”, with Shilpa wearing a stunning golden gown by Tarun Tahiliani, while husband Raj Kundra was dressed in an elegantly tailored black suit.

“Today, I want to give my heartiest congratulations to both Raj and Shilpa. And when such an occasion arrives once in our lives, we feel really happy,” said Bolywood actor, Neil Nitin Mukesh.

Other big Bollywood names in attendance including Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar.

Shilpa’s sister, Shamita, who had to withdraw from a  third edition of the TV reality show Big Boss,  to attend the wedding,  said that  she was  “very happy for them. And I pray that God keeps Raj and Shilpa happy forever.”

“I am a very lucky man, I am feeling very happy,” said Raj.

Shilpa said  “I am feeling very happy. I was discussing it with Raj day before yesterday that nothing has changed between us. I was his friend earlier and now also I am his friend. The only thing that has changed is that a friend has become a wife now.”

Rumours that Britney Spears has had her proposal of marriage rejected by her long time manager/short time boyfriend Jason Trawick are currently flying about the internet.

It appears that Britney proposal rejection took place somewhere between the 16th-20th Nov 2009, during the Sydney leg of The Circus Tour.

Australian newspaper ‘sources’ suggest he is unlikely to have been swayed by her celebrity status alone, as he takes marriage very seriously and he is unlikely to make any sudden moves toward marriage,  though it is alleged that  he and Britney have already discussed marriage and they are excited about a romantic wedding in the future.

The 27 year old singer may have alluded to the rejection of her marriage proposal when when asked the audience at a recent performance in Sydney,  ‘Have you ever really loved somebody? Have you ever really been hurt by somebody?’

Britney’s latest romantic setback  follows very public divorces from Jason Allen Alexander in 2004 and more recently,  Kevin Federline in 2007.
