Rumours are flying around the net today that X FACTOR boss Simon Cowell may get married this year to the beautiful US make-up artist Mezhgan Hussainy.

According to friends the love-struck producer and impresario is said to have proposed on Valentine’s Day and she accepted.

Rumours began after she was pictured wearing a huge sparkler on her wedding finger this week.

The Sun reports  : ‘A close friend said: “Simon’s definitely engaged. I’ve never seen him so happy. He’s known Mezhgan for several years and they’ve grown close. He finally popped the question.’

Cowell, 50,  confessed to Piers Morgan that “I’m smitten. You know when you’ve found somebody very special.” He is said to have surprised the Afghan-born beauty with the diamond ring as they dined in London. And Cowell was “grinning from ear to ear” when he broke the news that she said Yes.

The pal said: ‘He knows it’s right this time. It will be the biggest showbiz wedding in years.’

If the rumours are true, and they do seem to be, we’re in no doubt that this is just the beginning of what will become one of the most talked about weddings of the decade with Cowell being an internationally recognized figure on the small screen.

Cheeky chappie Robbie “Doesn’t want to have a long drawn-out engagement. When he gets something in his head, there’s no stopping him,” dailystar.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

“He has asked all his friends and family to keep the entire week free leading up to February 14, so they can have a week-long celebration before Valentine’s Day,” he added.

Williams, 35 had proposed to his girlfriend of three years Ayda, 30, last week at their home. He has told the actress that he wants to marry her as soon as possible.

After the media frenzy surrounding his ‘fake proposal’ late last year, whilst in Australia Robbie seems to be taking this very seriously.

He recently told TV presenter Jonathan Ross that he really wants to settle down and perhaps have a family, so it seems he is making moves in that direction.

A spokesman for bookmakers William Hill, is quoted as saying “A group of our customers have interpreted the Queen’s decision to crack down on the paparazzi as a clear sign that she expects extra activity over the Christmas period, which can only mean a royal engagement.” Currently, odds on a Christmas proposal by The Price To Kate stand at 6 to 1, slashed from 12 to 1 after this action was announced.

The 27 year old Prince has is believed to have employed the services of a firm of lawyers, instructed to implement human rights legislation to try to stop publication of paparazzi photographs of the couple together by threatening to sue for breach of privacy and harassment.

Sources close to William say he has always detested paparazzi, who he blames for the death of his mother, Diana, who died in a car crash, as they were allegedly trying to outrun a number of pursuing photographers.

Paddy Harverson, senior media adviser to Prince William spelt said of this action, “Members of the Royal Family feel they have a right to privacy when they are going about everyday, private activities. They recognise there is a public interest in them and what they do, but they do not think this extends to photographing the private activities of them and their friends.”

The first indication of the success of this move  is likely to come when the Royals  come together at Sandringham this Christmas.

The glamour model and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Danielle Lloyd has announced her engagement to Tottenham Hotspurs player Jamie O’Hara.

She apparently accepted his proposal during a romantic break in Paris and the couple are said to be planning a large celebrity wedding in 2011.

When talking to OK magazine, Danielle admitted she had been badgering Jamie about a proposal during their holiday. She said: “Over dinner I asked him ‘when do you think we will get engaged?’ Then I said, ‘will it be 2011?”

After dinner the pair went to their penthouse suite where Jamie popped the question. Danielle said: “As soon as he asked me, I burst into tears like a little baby. When he put the ring on my finger the light show at the Eiffel tower went off and it was sparkling all over the city.”

Interestingly Danielle has previously dated three Spurs players in recent years, and has also been seen Brirmingham footballer
marcus Bent and also with DJ Ironik.

If all goes smoothly it would seem that she will be joining the growing ranks of the WAGS.
