Cycling Olympian Weds
Super Olympic cycling star Sir Chris Hoy and his fiancee Sarra Kemp have married in Edinburgh.
Sir Chris, 34, won three gold medals at the Beijing Olympics and is Scotland’s most successful-ever Olympian.
He had been engaged to Miss Kemp, a lawyer, for about a year prior to the wedding ceremony on Saturday.
The ceremony had been kept a closely guarded secret. It is reported that even the guests were not informed of it’s location until the last minute to avoid a media frenzy and to keep it a private affair.
Of Scottish decent the groom decided to wear full clan regalia and posed briefly fo photographers while on the kirk steps with his beautiful new wife, who wore a white wedding dress and veil.
