Style Icon’s Gowns Up for Auction

Holywood style icon Audrey Hepburn is still remembered for her beautiful elfin looks and chic taste in clothing.

She was one of the most notable actresses in Hollywood for over two decades and is still probably best remembered for her role as Holly Golightly in the 1961 romantic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Audrey developed a life-long friendship with fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy and became a muse for many of his designs.

Well…and here’s the thing….you now have the opportunity to bid for one of a number of her most iconic outfits. These will auctioned to raise money for The Audrey Hepburn Children’s Fund.

There will be many items of clothing, jewellery and accessories on offer which include the Chantilly lace gown Audrey wore in the 1961 film How to Steal a Million and the Givenchy-designed black silk gown she wore in Paris When It Sizzles in 1962.

There are also some letters that she wrote discussing her proposed wedding to James Hanson and while filming Roman Holiday included in the sale.
