Mickey Rourke Planning to Marry Elena Kuletskaya

Rugged Hollywood star and ex hell-raiser Mickey Rourke is preparing to marry his 24 year old Russian girlfriend Elean Kuletskaya in the new year and is looking in to the possiblity of a Moscow wedding.

The stunning blond model has been seen with Mickey at a number of public occassions including GQ Man of the Year celebration in London at the Royal Opera House in September earlier this year. The couple seem to be very much in love and she has been tutoring the 57 year old star for his upcoming role as Russian villain ‘Whiplash’ in Ironman 2.

Rourke, who has cleaned up his bad-boy image since starring in recent film roles Sin City and more recently the highly acclaimed 2008 hit ‘The Wrestler’has been preparing for a Russian wedding according to the New York Post.

They quote a friend of Rourke’s as saying “They haven’t booked a venue or made any solid plans. He just knows he wants to do it in April, and he’s been asking what is involved in a traditional Russian wedding ceremony.”

Beautiful Author Tara Moss Marries Berndt Sellheim

After a 9 month engagement, the beautiful author and model Tara Moss has wed the poet and philosopher Berndt Sellheim in an intimate ceremony in the rose gardens of Voyager Estate winery in Margaret River,Australia in front of a small group of personal friends and family.

The  former international model who quit modelling follow a writing career when she was twenty five is now an acclaimed author of five books and is also said to be a qualified private investigator. She lists amongst her hobbies that she has a  pet python, and likes to shoot guns and ride motorbikes.  She was formerly married to the Melbourne based, Australian film producer Mark Pennell.

For the ceremony she was adorned in a stunning, yet simple bright red couture wedding dress (with a train) that was designed by her close friend Alex Perry. Her accessories included a locket of the couple’s hair with 130 year old Victorian Jewellery.

According to Australia’s Herald Sun Moss is quoted as saying: This is bliss. We look forward to becoming a couple of old, eccentric writers together.”

Prince William Moves For Privacy For Royals Prior To Marriage Proposal Rumours.

A spokesman for bookmakers William Hill, is quoted as saying “A group of our customers have interpreted the Queen’s decision to crack down on the paparazzi as a clear sign that she expects extra activity over the Christmas period, which can only mean a royal engagement.” Currently, odds on a Christmas proposal by The Price To Kate stand at 6 to 1, slashed from 12 to 1 after this action was announced.

The 27 year old Prince has is believed to have employed the services of a firm of lawyers, instructed to implement human rights legislation to try to stop publication of paparazzi photographs of the couple together by threatening to sue for breach of privacy and harassment.

Sources close to William say he has always detested paparazzi, who he blames for the death of his mother, Diana, who died in a car crash, as they were allegedly trying to outrun a number of pursuing photographers.

Paddy Harverson, senior media adviser to Prince William spelt said of this action, “Members of the Royal Family feel they have a right to privacy when they are going about everyday, private activities. They recognise there is a public interest in them and what they do, but they do not think this extends to photographing the private activities of them and their friends.”

The first indication of the success of this move  is likely to come when the Royals  come together at Sandringham this Christmas.

Simon Cowell Prevents Olly Murs from Attending Brother’s Wedding.

Olly Murs was banned by X Factor boss Simon Cowell from attending his brother Ben’s wedding to Amy Hart.

The X Factor star was asked to attend the dress rehearshal at the x Factor’s North London studios. which led to him missing his twin’s wedding ceremony where he was due to act as Best Man.

The ceremony was only 16 miles from studio and Olly had asked Simon if he could just take a couple of hours out if the day for this special event on Saturday afternoon.

Ben told the Sunday Mirror: “Olly pleaded to be allowed to take a couple of hours off.”

He didn’t ask to take the whole day, just a couple of hours so he could be there for the biggest day of his brother’s life…”But Simon wouldn’t budge. Cowell could have made this happen. It would have been the best wedding gift we could have asked for. But he refused.” “I thought better of him. I thought he’d have a bit more Christmas spirit. But he’s turned out to be nothing more than Mr Scrooge.”

As it turned out Olly had to make do with listening in via mobile phone as the vows were exchanges while family friend Tommy Bradley,stepped in to perform the Best Man duties at St Mary’s Church – The price of fame!

Truth is we already know the answer. This is the upcoming nuptial celebrations for Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be released on November 19th in the UK  and the US, while Part 2 will be released on 15th July 2011.

Hell’s Kitchen star and once enfent terrible of the fine dining world Marco Pierre White has teamed up with an exclusive wedding venue to offer his catering services. He plans to make his highly sought after skills available to couples for a hire price of`£20,000.

The new venture (opening in January 2010) is called ‘White Weddings’  and based at West Tower country house in Aughton, Lancashire.

He is quoted as saying that “Romance is what it’s all about in this industry, it’s what customers look for, but this is what a lot of modern day venues lack. Romance is the only thing that never dates – so I will invite my guests to step into a truly romantic environment”.

The Leeds-born chef, famous for being the youngest ever to hold 3 of the coveted Michelin stars, goes on to say “This marks a new chapter in my career, I’ve never lost my Northern roots and I can’t wait to bring the next generation of events cuisine to the region. It’s about the occasion, about being with your family and friends, the experience as a whole.”

Facebook Fan Updates Facebook Marital Status At The Altar

A Facebook fan with a sense of humour shocked his wife and amused the guests at his wedding when he used his phone to update his relationship status on his facebook profile, during the wedding ceremony!

As soon as the couple are pronounced man and wife by the Minister (who was in on the prank) the groom produces his phone and updates his status from ‘in a relationship’ to ‘married’. He then hands the phone to his wife, who follows suit and updates her status too!

The Groom’s twitter post reads ‘Standing at the altar with Tracy Page where just a second ago, she became my wife! Gotta go, time to kiss my bride’

Danielle Lloyd to Wed Footballer Jamie O’Hara

The glamour model and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Danielle Lloyd has announced her engagement to Tottenham Hotspurs player Jamie O’Hara.

She apparently accepted his proposal during a romantic break in Paris and the couple are said to be planning a large celebrity wedding in 2011.

When talking to OK magazine, Danielle admitted she had been badgering Jamie about a proposal during their holiday. She said: “Over dinner I asked him ‘when do you think we will get engaged?’ Then I said, ‘will it be 2011?”

After dinner the pair went to their penthouse suite where Jamie popped the question. Danielle said: “As soon as he asked me, I burst into tears like a little baby. When he put the ring on my finger the light show at the Eiffel tower went off and it was sparkling all over the city.”

Interestingly Danielle has previously dated three Spurs players in recent years, and has also been seen Brirmingham footballer
marcus Bent and also with DJ Ironik.

If all goes smoothly it would seem that she will be joining the growing ranks of the WAGS.

Style Icon’s Gowns Up for Auction

Holywood style icon Audrey Hepburn is still remembered for her beautiful elfin looks and chic taste in clothing.

She was one of the most notable actresses in Hollywood for over two decades and is still probably best remembered for her role as Holly Golightly in the 1961 romantic film Breakfast at Tiffany’s

Audrey developed a life-long friendship with fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy and became a muse for many of his designs.

Well…and here’s the thing….you now have the opportunity to bid for one of a number of her most iconic outfits. These will auctioned to raise money for The Audrey Hepburn Children’s Fund.

There will be many items of clothing, jewellery and accessories on offer which include the Chantilly lace gown Audrey wore in the 1961 film How to Steal a Million and the Givenchy-designed black silk gown she wore in Paris When It Sizzles in 1962.

There are also some letters that she wrote discussing her proposed wedding to James Hanson and while filming Roman Holiday included in the sale.
